First of all, let me apologise for not posting anything in such a long time! I don't really know why I haven't but I'm back now and I have a couple of things I'd like to talk to you about, the first being the Summer Series.

The Summer Series was the last thing I spoke about and I gave you all a link to check it out, there were ten races in ten gorgeous locations that you could have been a part of. Now they've all finished I'd like to direct you back to their website to check out how well everyone did. They have all the results listed for you so if you did take part this is where you need to go to see your official times and finishing positions. If you did compete in one of these races (I didn't myself but my boyfriend did and I went to cheer him on) then well done, some of them looked so hard.

Starting the series off, over TWO HUNDRED people turned up to compete at Tittesworth Reservoir, a 4.5 mile race. Both young and old sped off into the distance ready to do their best with the weather staying nice for them.
By the time the first competitor made it back to the finish line in a brilliant 26.47 minutes Darth Vader and what I believe to be a storm trooper had appeared at the finish line. They cheered and clapped for all the runners, very unevil... and runners grabbed snapshots before they left.

Unfortunately that was the last time I saw the Star Wars... stars... but each race I attended was still good. You can find out the terrain, mileage, incline, photos and results on the website for all the other races that took place over the last few weeks. Well done again if you took part or went to support the racers.

Everyone did such a good job so to see the full list of results for every race, follow this link to the Summer Series Website. Apparently one race was super tough and a few people got a little ill but other than that, I hear it was pretty god fun. Hopefully next years goes just as well with less poorly tummies.
